Engineered timber is strong and resilient against warping and twisting; a double gasket seal makes replicating original sash and flush casement windows possible whilst still achieving top performance double or triple glazed windows. With these modern techniques uPVC is not the only option for thermally efficient modern windows, with real wood windows also having a look and feel that surpasses that of plastic or wood effect uPVC.

Engineered timber is used for the construction of the frame and sashes. Sapele is used for all of our window sills being the most exposed element of any window as it is extremely hard and durable. Timbers we use are European Oak, Red Grandis, Idigbo and Accoya.
Casement
The most popular style of window – an extremely versatile window that will suit most homes. Featuring fixed panes, top opening fanlights and side opening lights, casement windows offer a variety of combinations.
Sash
Sliding sash windows with boxed balance weights or spiral balance, the sash windows slide open vertically, with optional Victorian or Georgian bars and traditional detailing for a truly period look.
Tilt and turn
This window functions in two ways. The tilt function opens the top of the sash inwards for ventilation, whilst the turn function creates an inward opening side hung operation. Tilt and turn windows are the ideal solution where there is restricted space outside. They can be cleaned from the inside and can be used as emergency exits.
Stormproof
These have all the versatility and style of a casement window but with even more weather proofing design features. The casements are rebated over the face of the flush frame preventing wind driven rain ingress.
